Be the Business Digital is an online tool that aims to help facilitate the adoption of software, and thus productivity, of SMEs in England. This project aimed to evaluate the delivery of Be the Business Digital alongside support from a banking relationship manager at Lloyds Bank.
The evaluation was funded from the Department for Business and Industrial Strategy’s Business Basics fund. This fund aimed to use innovative techniques to build evidence on how to encourage SMEs to adopt productivity boosting technology and management practices. The evaluation was undertaken in partnership wit Be the Business and the Behavioural Team (BIT), with Lloyds Bank on board as a delivery partner.
