Create networking opportunities

How to create development opportunities.

Help your employees to network outside of the company and, for larger businesses, internally as well. Linking up with others can help staff grow and learn from one another, with new contacts acting as informal mentors or coaches. Consider paying for your employees to join professional industry associations and attend networking events. Training courses and workshops can also be good networking opportunities. For larger business groups, professional networking apps can also help employees within an organisation connect with each other and collaborate. Slack, for example, lets teams create a joint account to collaborate with each other across business silos via live, text-based chat.
