How to recognise effort in different ways.

Use team-building exercises to show employees your appreciation of their work and to help generate a positive, supportive environment for employees by placing importance on company culture and staff socials. Think about the goal you’re trying to achieve – for instance, organising team games could help employees meet colleagues from other parts of the business. Different employees prefer different events – not everyone drinks alcohol or enjoys playing sport – so make sure that your team-building activities reflect the diversity of the workforce. Ask employees, perhaps anonymously, what they’d like to do.
