Take steps to identify areas of risk and protect your business from cyber-crime

How to develop the use of business data.

Make sure your passwords are strong enough to resist cyber attacks, most of which are not highly sophisticated. A weak password or phishing email is often all hackers need. The government’s National Cyber Security Centre has five tips for how to keep your business safe online. These include using a firewall to secure your internet connection, choosing the most secure settings for your devices and software, controlling who has access to your data and services, protecting yourself from viruses and other malware and keeping your devices and software up to date.
