At Be the Business, we’re hand-picking a team of senior-level mentors who want to share their experience, sector expertise and best practice with British small and medium-sized enterprises.
We’re creating the UK’s most ambitious mentoring programme for the leaders of small and medium-sized businesses. Backed by government and supported by some of the UK’s leading businesses, the scheme is structured to give ongoing support and advice to participants.

UPDATE: During the coronavirus outbreak, our priority is to keep our network of mentees, mentors and other partners as safe as possible. We therefore strongly advise all active pairings who have organised – or are in the process of organising – meetings, to conduct these over the phone or using online meeting tools. We want to do everything we can to help businesses through the immediate impact of coronavirus and help rebuild once it has passed. To this end, we have set up a hub of the best advice from government and private sector to help businesses cope. The hub includes responses to FAQs, explanations of government support available and daily updates. In the meantime, we recommend doing your best to continue contact by phone or online with your mentor/mentee so that support can continue to be given. How Mentoring for Growth works
Mentors are sourced from some of Britain's leading firms
SMEs need to have ten or more full-time employees and an annual turnover of at least £2m
Mentors and mentees go through rigorous pairing process to ensure long-term compatibility
