During lockdown, Sparkloop ‘s Gayle Carpenter was lucky to stay busy with existing clients who wanted help to ensure the business remained visible at such a tricky time, and even ramped up brand presence and comms. Gayle wanted to extend this service during lockdown by offering advice and insights to other SMEs but, as this would usually be paid for, her difficult decision was whether the business could offer this service free of charge and if it could afford the time.
