How to improve your leadership capabilities and skills.

Take a test of your own effectiveness as a leader to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses, and areas you can improve on. The Investors in People Standard offers a framework to assess current performance and identify ways to improve. The Standard explores practices and outcomes within an organisation under three performance headings: leading, supporting and improving. Other popular tools more geared around self-awareness include DiSC profiling, the Myers-Briggs Indicator and the Gallup Strengths Finder. You might also want to identify leadership issues which may be causing problems in your team.
